The Fix Score shows how many readers say a fix worked for them.
How votes are counted
- Anyone can vote once on each fix, with no account needed.
- A score only appears after 20 people have voted, so a few votes cannot look like proof.
- When readers tell us what they tried a fix on, we show results for that situation after 10 votes.
What we will never do
- We never add, change or remove votes to improve a score.
- We never pay people for votes.
- Companies cannot pay to change a score.
What a score cannot tell you
A Fix Score is what readers report. It is not a lab result. People may judge success differently, and a fix that worked for most people may still fail or cause damage in your situation. Always read the safety notes, and test on a small hidden area first.
